Although I bought it too much cheaper than other websites here, but I think it is too expensive to upgrade XP to windows 7 ultimate.It's more far better than Vista! so if you have Windows Vista and are exhausted and have extra money to pay for Windows 7, It might be a good choice.

I've always said that Windows 2000 is the best Windows ever well, 7 is even better! I upgraded my ThinkPad from XP Pro to 7 Pro and I just love it its fast smooth full of features and everything works 100%! My ThinkPad originally came with Vista Business I tried it for like a month and it was a total nightmare, I never thought that I will ever recommend a Microsoft product!!! But I highly recommend Windows 7 Pro and yes it's better than XP!

My computer came pre-installed with windows vista. Ran slow with 4gb of memory and had so many glitches. I ordered Windows 7 Professional and after just a day of use I knew I'd love it. It runs fast (I timed windows vista startup and it took over 7 minutes- windows 7 only takes 1 and a half minutes!!) If you are depressed and irritated by Vista then this upgrade is a must... I HIGHLY recommend it.

After so many tries, Microsoft has finally hit one out-of-the-park with Windows 7!
Having been a Windows user (both professionally and at home) of MS Windows since the Windows 3.5 days (and every release since then) I appreciate the attention to user requests and code quality (I was a professional software designer-developer before retirement) that has gone into Windows 7. It is difficult to produce quality, error-free code in any system this size but Windows 7 (I upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate Edition) comes close to achieving this goal. I especially like the fact that:
1) It starts fast!
2) It's navigation features are intuitive.
3) It is more secure (without being obnoxious--as was Vista).
4) There are a great many more "helps" for users.
5) The "Update Advisor" actually tells you what to expect in making the transition.
If Microsoft has only produced an easier way to upgrade from XP then they would have rated 5 stars.
I recommned that Vista users migrate to Windows 7 as soon as possible and XP users run the upgrade advisor to determine if your computer is capable of supporting this new System. If not, it's probably time to consider replacing your computer with one that has Windows 7 installed on it...

I had been experiencing problems with Windows 98 --occasional lockups, especially in browsing (ddhelp issues) and messages that the browser was not going to be supported on websites. Of course Win98 is not being supported by Microsoft.
So I purchased this product, once installed it has worked perfectly, no lockups at all or browser issues, it seems to be a very huge improvement over my previous computer issues. It updates automatically, seems to work smoothly with my older programs, and is also apparently faster on browsing. I am very happy with it!

I purchased this product to put on my Duo Core Mac, so that I could run windows for two of the classes I am taking. It was very easy to install and works perfectly.
