I got this notebook for my 6 year old nephew, and I thought it would be fun for him to learn on this laptop. Unfortunately the screen is not backlit very well (or at all?), so it's very hard to see anything. It is too bad that something with so much potential is mostly useless thanks to the display.

I have fond memories of O.F.R.--Nitro's debut--that date back to the summer of 1989 (the year that this album was released) when I first got this piece of work. One of these memories was playing this album incessantly that summer. As far as I remember, I became aware of Nitro when I saw their music video for "Freight Train." All of these years later, I still consider O.F.R. to be striking, unusual, enjoyable, fun, and extreme. What stands out the most to me about this album is the talented Jim Gillette's amazing vocals. His capacity to vocalize in the upper register falsetto range is outstanding. He does not just sing in falsetto throughout the album, though. Michael Angelo is not only a proficient guitarist, but he is also impressively fleet in his playing. Bobby Rock, ex-Vinnie Vincent Invasion, also pulls off a solid performance with his hard-driving, precision drumming. O.F.R. contains nine tracks; one of these is a power ballad, "Long Way from Home." The album's material is in a straight-ahead hard rock musical direction. I find the songwriting to be worthy, the musicianship to be tight, and the sound quality to be satisfying. My favorite cuts are "Double Trouble," "Long Way from Home," and "Nasty Reputation." "Double Trouble" sports a gratifying refrain, a nice bridge, and cool falsettos from Gillette. "Nasty Reputation" is a catchy tune that supplies a never-to-be-forgotten guitar riff from Angelo and an infectious, indelible chorus. An example of another song that I like is "Machine Gunn Eddie," with its wonderful, sustained falsetto from Gillette. Nitro's O.F.R. is a recommendable piece of work.

Not as good or as extreme as their first album O.F.R. which made it so good. Some okay songs but as the trend in muscic was changing in the early 90's I am sure they got pressure to tone down their sound. too bad.

This is one of those few proteins that is actually pretty versatile while at the same time extremely high quality. I like to use this as a meal replacement in the morning, get twice the protein, half the fat, half the calories, and the same amount of fiber than i would if i had my normal breakfast. if i was not trying to lose weight, i would just take this with breakfast. it's just so good for you. guys like to use this to put on muscle, and honestly either way works very well. this keeps you full throughout the day, and the protein will keep digesting and being absorbed all day.
